Passengers were not allowed to board planes and circling the airport while officials scratched their heads and tried to figure out what the strange object was. Inbound flights were moved to nearby airports whilst outbound flights were delayed for 3 to 4 hours.

A local bus driver said that he had seen a strange glowing object in the sky late on Wednesday afternoon. Chinese officials confirmed that they knew what the object had been but were unable to make it public because there was a ‘military connection.’
